Ha...when you hate the lack of control and inconsistency.
I hear you on all of that. But I think some of us prefer this over the office routine.

My plan is to give it a year, then evaluate the pros and cons again. But if you're not happy, there's no shame in going back to full-time. I personally got tired of same old same old clients and office politics so freelancing has been a welcome break from that. But I hear ya on the constantly having to hustle being a drag. Lack of control, too.
It’s definitely not for everyone, just like permanent roles aren’t for everyone 🤷🏽♀️ The lack of control is either something you can roll with or not, but it doesn’t really fade away.
9 months in. Learning to not panic - I’ve been booked as much as I’ve wanted to so far. I left ft for life reasons and because I was a bit burnt out on the same ol. Planning to revaluate at some point and decide the next move, but it likely won’t be in an agency. Good luck!
