Hi Folks, I'm last day at at current org is nearing. I'm a full stack developer with 5.6 years of experience and I have received offers from Airbus and JPMorgan Chase.
And both are offering similar CTC Airbus with 22 fixed plus 3 variable (retention bonus of 5L) JPMorgan Chase with 25 fixed. My family is extended recently considering work-life balance as one of important factor. Which would be a better company to join?
I have an offer with Capita plc for 22 LPA for 5 yoe.
It's complete WFH.
Tech stack is spring boot and microservices.
Is it a product based company or a service based company?
How wlb will be in Capita plc?
I have been offered 6A band as senior software engineer, so is 22LPA fair compensation?

Sorry this happened to you. Not really sure about your circumstances so please don’t take this as judgement cause it isn’t. Just some advice from my experiences. Just say no. If they say I don’t want to sit on meetings you say I would be happy to cover, but I have a personal commitment I can’t reschedule. Sorry. End of story.
It’s not necessarily your role. You can spin this around and say that managers are responsible for both the success of the project and well-being of the team >> Therefore they should take the call.
Doesn’t matter. Give upward feedback if you can, suggest a fix so it doesn’t creep up on you again :)
I don’t think is inappropriate to say that the success of this project and the clients needs are dependent on everyone and everyone should pitch in. If you’re the main go to person that is fine but having 1-2 nights a week when you aren’t on those calls all night every week night should be a reasonable request
