I’ve been telling people to prepare for this for about a decade. All their (CCP) decisions have been led by ego, or by fear - not by good economic policy. My only worry is that they’ll start a war to save face and to keep people employed.

EY, I got my Roth IRA contributions set to max (30%). Does Fidelity automatically lower the % and stop contributions afterwards once I reach my 2022 limit?
Also at Deloitte, I had a couple thousand contributed in the beginning of the year. Does EY's 401k keep track of that as well towards the limit?

Wait until you find what % of annual gdp US debt represents!
There’s a reason balance sheets are snapshots in time and income statements show trends.

Are you folks paying attention, or did you read the article? When the WSJ writes an article like this, and points out all the things that have been building, it’s a big deal.
And I’m not saying there aren’t big problems in the US and elsewhere two, but what’s about to happen in China has me worried about the response.

That was my point. Pay attention. There has been a series of articles in the WSJ like this one, but this is the first I’ve seen that ties it all together. I NEVER get news from social media. Mostly NYT WSJ FT.
Experts such as the WSJ and the NYT have been predicting China collapsing…since 1960. It will happen anytime now.

Palantir is the best performing stock this year in the US.
So what you just wrote about the CCP can be said about the US:
l've been telling people to prepare for this for about a decade. All US decisions have been led by ego, or by fear - not by good economic policy. My only worry is that they'll continue wars to save face and to keep people employed.
Unless they're replaced by H1Bs that is
Palantir is not a stock whose performance is based on their fundamentals lmao

Suggestions that the Chinese economy is about to collapse has been a constant Yellow Peril propaganda tactic used by NATO for like 70 years. Some scumbags make their entire careers out of lying about stuff like this.
There’s all kinds of crap on the internet. One could say it’s mostly crap.
Economically-speaking China is the growth story of the last 50 years. In fact by just about any economic measure, china grew faster than any other major economy over the last 50 years.
So yes, the fact that the magic is wearing off is in fact big news and will have major repercussions for everyone.
