I think that's true and lines up with human psychology. When we feel good about ourselves, we're more confident and capable and self-assured in other aspects of our lives. I feel this when I'm going to the gym, for example: I'm more likely to be confident in my work and my relationships when my physical health is good.

Absolutely agree! It all connects, doesn’t it? Feeling good boosts confidence everywhere. Being active really helps too. It’s amazing how fitness can impact work and relationships! Thanks for sharing!
I'm convinced that someone's general outlook on life has a major influence on something like projecting confidence in a negotiation. If you're feeling less than secure overall, it's virtually impossible to go into a negotiation on firm footing. It takes some nerve to ask for what you deserve, so sure, overall attitude matters.

Totally with you on that! Your outlook really shapes your confidence, especially in negotiations. If you’re feeling uncertain, it’s tough to stand your ground. It definitely takes guts to ask for what you deserve.

Absolutely, I’ve noticed the exact same thing. When my life outside work is going well with solid relationships, getting enough sleep, exercising, maybe even just having some hobbies that actually excite me then I walk into salary discussions with real confidence. I’m clearer about my value, less desperate for approval, and way more willing to push back or walk away if the offer isn’t right. It’s like having a stronger safety net makes you bolder.
