I’ve been told “you’re overqualified” more times than I’ve been told “you’re hired.”
Apparently if you have experience, you’re too much of a flight risk.
If you’re still learning, you’re not ready.
So… when exactly are we allowed to be hireable?
Is anyone else stuck in this weird middle zone where you’re somehow both too much and not enough?

I’ve been in this position before, and it really makes you question the fairness of the recruitment process. ‘You’re overqualified’ often feels like just another rejection, wrapped in a more polite package. Recruiters really need to do better.

Don’t worry in a year or two, you won’t be ai, so you won’t be hireable at all, it’s short term 🤣

An organization cleared out its HR department and settled for AI. A3 months in, it went up in flames.Haha

I get rejected for jobs with few requirements and I strongly believe HR is messing with Us. the job market is cooked

Hey all! Need a couple book recs for an upcoming beach trip.

Looking for a great non-fiction, relating to travel or world history (not just one moment in time). Could also be about the marketing world or memoirs of a business leader kinda thing.

Fiction wise I also like fantasy, paranormal, and romance. Some fave book series are the Black Gryphon from Mercedes Lackey, Game of Thrones, and From Jamaica Lane series. Similar books?

Hi, I'm an employee at a hotel chain who works remotely. I've been working remotely for over a year now and I love it! The company I work for is very supportive of remote workers, which is great.

But there's one thing that's been bothering me: it's hard to get feedback on my work when I'm not in the office. It would be great if there was some kind of system that let me know how my performance was being evaluated while I'm working on projects from home.

Any resume writer referrals? I’m trying to make the jump into project management. I have 13YOE managing cross-departmental projects and people, and I’d like to shed the general EA work of calendars/travel/expenses. But recruiters just see my most recent role is EA and that’s all they want to talk to me about. I’m hoping a better written resume will help target algorithms to get my resume viewed for other roles.

Looking for referrals for a Technical Sales Executive position that is Remote (USA), possibly in the industrial sector. Last year I made $109k at AT&T so I'm hoping to at least stay in the same ball park but want a change. I have lots of experience selling IT/telecom, but I also have a Mechanical Engineering background so I'm a good fit for a wide range of technical sales. I have been thinking a role in the industrial sector with a longer sales cycle may be a good fit, can travel up to 25%
