Hi guys, Now VMware is offering me a 35% percent hike of what I am earning at DellEmc. I just completed one year at DellEmc. Total 2.7YOE But I don't like to go out of Dell, due to some personal commitments I am planning to switch.
Is it a good time to switch?
Can I talk with my manager ?
Are they able to hike the salary of what VMware is offering? Please suggest me.

Yesss stop waiting for people. Try to do tours. I always try to sign up for a free walking tour (tip based) so that I can get around the city and they almost always have restaurant recommendations. Enjoy your own company. I’ve traveled solo many times, including Rome and Paris, and some of my best stories talking to strangers have been on solo trips. Take yourself to delicious restaurants and enjoy your solo dates with a glass of wine. Ahhh enjoy
The recent NPR Life Kit episode called “how to make your solo trip a success” is worth a listen.
Thanks for the rec! Checking this out now
As a woman, I’ve never understood questions about doing things as “a woman….by herself”
I’m a single woman who does things by herself all day every day. Why would being on a trip be any different? Do what you would normally do
You'd be more familiar with the most likely spots to get assaulted in your own city, which bars to avoid, etc. You wouldn't know that in a new city/country.
Have so much fun!!
Yay! Solo travel is life changing! It’ll give you a whole new perspective on life and your own abilities.

Solo travel is awesome. Enjoy the trip!
One other option to look at, is the travel Company called Flashpack. They provide solo group tours to people in their 30’s and 40’s. Everyone joins the group as a solo traveler. I’ve done two trips with them and both have been amazing. And the age rules are nice since you know others in your group will be a similar age.
I would recommend booking with contiki, trafalgar or exotica tours... They handle all the travel, hotels, and provided guides that will usually help you bypass lineups at popular destinations. I used contiki for a trip to Rome, Vatican and Paris. It was incredibly helpful to avoid lineups to get into museums, the Eiffel tower, Sistine chapel, etc
goodluck
