Based in northeast US, and I'd like to take an international trip during the last week of April. I will be in second trimester, so no intense activities and prefer to be in big city, flexible budget and looking to relax. What are the countries/cities should I look into?

Big city and looking to relax are a bit contradicting. Do you want museums and history or a beach?

I went to Iceland during my second trimester! It was a super easy flight and there is a lot to do! Really good food, great sights (we rented a car, so had a lot of flexibility), and relaxing spas.

Also, Montreal is a quick trip and very European without the long flight. Great food here too!

You are close to Canada. It is budget friendly.

Barcelona?

If you want a close by flight I highly suggest London and then making your way to Wales. London will give you the city life you want and Wales can be very relaxing and so underrated .. wow

Portugal is also a great option - good weather, city and beaches and it’s close!

Planning a trip to Rome and Naples with day trips to Tivoli and Pompeii. Is 1 week enough? I feel like reading through 3/4 day Rome and 2 day Naples itineraries, the trip seems rushed. I have unlimited PTO but my SO is limited in time (but luckily he can work extra hrs and then use less PTO). I would say max we could do is 1.5 weeks but adding on 3-5 more days seems almost too much? Thoughts? For reference, I did Venice-Florence-Rome in a week and it seemed okay but it also wasn’t as planned out

So medication has been revolutionary for me. The last few months I have felt so much better / confident in doing my job. The last few days / last week I’ve felt like I haven’t taken my meds (I have lol) in that I haven’t been able to concentrate and the self-doubt has flown back. Any advice?

How would you handle not getting a lunch break when you are a salaried employee treating patients for 40 hours a week? I don’t get documentation time either, but all notes are to be completed the same day. Some of us have reached out to HR and we’re told to discuss it with the regional director, but the regional director says we’d have to come in early or leave late to block out a lunch break. My commute is an hour each way, so I’d prefer not to make my day any longer. Advice?

I joined a new team and have noticed something off with my Director over the last months (slurring speech, no show to calls or even full days of work). I finally asked a colleague about it today because I’m concerned about my Director. She confirmed that she’s noticed the same over the last few years, but no one ever says anything. In confidence she told me she can often smell alcohol. How can I help? I feel helpless. I’ve already lost someone to addiction and I can’t ignore this. Any advice?

Has anyone been successful in negotiating the schedule on a global pregnancy bill? My provider won't bill by visit and split the global cost into four payments all due by the 28th week. I don't understand how that's legal since it is so off the calendar of services and crosses calendar years (and insurance coverage), where most costs are incurred at the end of pregnancy with increased visit frequency and delivery.

I’m pretty well traveled in general and do just fine alone, but a different alphabet certainly makes things harder (if translations aren’t common). Female if that makes a difference.
