What I see is that it will be reposted with the higher range. That is more the standard approach. But I’m sure there have been times when a candidate negotiated and was offered a higher range because of this.
Yes, it happens. More often the budget is adjusted for a strong candidate rather than reposting, but if the gap is too big, the role may go back out with a higher range.
Thanks for your answer, do you think it is worth applying anyway if you see the salary range is low but the role is a fit for this reason?
