I've just read another team lead job posting with a mid-entry level salary. Does it ever happen to you recruiters that your hiring manager realises that the budget is not enough and the posting gets bumped? Is it more common that one of the candidates gets an offer that is out or range or that the job gets posted again with a higher salary range?

I’ve never negotiated a salary before… any tips? The offer is for a boutique consulting firm with 2 YOE. The project work aligns exactly to my current role.

Base: 125k + COLA
Bonus target: 10%
Sign on bonus: 10k

Current base: 115k
Current bonus target: 15%
