Have a formal offer at Citi for 120K as an AVP in the NY office. Currently making 92K at my current role where I feel there’s not much room to grow anymore. Is this a fair offer? I currently WFH pretty much full time at my current role which has been amazing, but it seems like Citi would require me to be there 2-3 days in the office per week - and this is something I’m very hesitant about. Thoughts on how to approach this?

Bain & Company I’m currently prepping for Bain & Company and McKinsey & Company interviews scheduled in the next 2 months. For those that interviewed with both, how would you suggest I tailor my preparation for each one? I understand McKinsey is interviewer led while Bain is the opposite. But other than that, is there anything else I should work on separately for each one?

Yes.
On that note, does Bain usually down rank people potentially moving from a T2? E.g., if you have 2 YOE with a promotion in a T2, will Bain hire you as an AC (for example, in London hiring post they say 2 YOE minimum required for ACs)? Is there any room to negotiate for a SAC position if you make it to the interviews?
2YOE will still be AC when you lateral. However you can make SAC 6-12 months, depending how well you do.
Practically speaking, the model is designed this way because you do NOT want to be an SAC and start leading work streams and other AC1/AC2s when you’re new to Bain (understand the way we solve problems, Bain lingo, Bain assets, Bain PD system etc)
I mean London is the PE capital hotspot of the world and Bain is the mbb the most entrenched with PE so….
