I have 1 sheet with names and sheet 2 with a large list of names that may or may not be those names - which also have corresponding unique identity numbers. How do I easily match the names with the same names and keep the unique identity numbers for importing later?

My previous manager would track us by hours daily, made a fuss everytime anything stretched and guilt us for that and the unplanned leave too unless it was COVID. Hinted him a lot of time, this is problematic but apparently he considered it "standard practice for agile".

I recommended a candidate for hire to a manager that reports directly to me. This person is a perfect match, but wanted the manager to obviously recommend. It has to be a fit.
