But the pace can be relentless, and sometimes it feels like you never really “switch off.” For those also in digital media how do you balance the excitement with the burnout? And what advice do you have to those just starting out?

Why does NBC News pay incredibly low wages? There are people with 5+ years of experience and many went to ivy leagues making $20 - $26 an hour as full time employees… What is going on?

One of my direct reports has asked about going part time. They currently manage special reports in a bi-weekly publication, working closely with sales, freelance writers, and an internal designer. Job duties are primarily project management and editing/proofreading. As the first read on articles, they need to have an understanding of the material (business/regulation). Has anyone had experience with job sharing in this type of a role?
