I can very much relate to this!
First, love the image. I think it’s so important to have balanced teams and those rooms are packed with way too many extroverts who don’t stop to listen. Having a calming presence is awesome for the team and assume you make your POV known where it’s needed however works for you.

I have tend to work with extroverts that are reactive, so I try to help bring order and direction by being proactive when the venting is done.
Hah I feel you on this. Being introverted is great for me at work because I have crazy, diagnosed ADHD. If I was extroverted, I'm sure I'd get sucked into a bunch of time wasting convos. As is, I pretty much just shut myself in my office, put my headphones in and get to work.

I respond to emails and Teams posts 2-3 per day. If I do it every time something pops up, I would lose focus and never get things done. Sometimes my staff asks if I saw the communications, and I say “Yes, and you handled it well.” I’ll jump in when I know it’s beyond their control.
Everyone is naturally better at certain things. Always lean into yours for the best results!

I usually let the extroverts vent and get it out of their systems. Then I jump in and present next steps to review so we can get something done.
