Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

Hi fishies. I have a ton of interviews coming up soon including a case interview at EY within their Innovation and Experience Design practice for Digital Strategy Manager. I am super comfortable with CX, design thinking, etc which are the types of projects I would be working on BUT I am absolutely terrible in case interviews. I was hoping it would be based on CX or design but my understanding is there is some revenue component idk. Anyone have any insight? I would greatly greatly appreciate it!

I'm pretty serious about this topic. Hope i could get some real answers
If you are truly integrating with or migrating from mainframe to distributed this is not time lost. Replicating databases from one to the other also not time lost. You need a deep understanding of both worlds to be successful that can branch out in many ways - especially as a project manager. If you are a project manager on mainframe using mainframe software/api integration then that’s really sitting more on the mainframe side. There’s nothing wrong with that but recognize whether you are doing integration work, migration work, or just implementing mainframe software. If you don’t want to do mainframe as a career then don’t take too many of those types of projects in a row. Just do a good job on this one and make sure it’s known you want to branch out on the next one.
Great post. Many thanks to u ibm1
