I was just offered a CUNY role. The title is Higher Education Assistant. According to Glassdoor, the average annual pay for that role is $83,418. However, I was offered $62,500. I requested for the minimum annual salary to be 75k. Does anyone have experience navigating the CUNY system and their pay?

$75-$80k would be my guess, but I can't be sure. You may get more accurate estimates in other healthcare bowls. I'm not sure how many RTs are in this one.
There is a radiation therapy page! This may be a great question for that group

My wife is a radiation therapist in the greater Boston area. I would expect the pay scale to be similar with NJ. She said new grads are making about 38/hr. Which equates to about 79k. There is a shortage in our area which is also causing higher pay. Good luck and dont settle. My wife has 4 years experience and a lot of hospitals under offer. She held her ground during covid and did not accept lower paying positions. She makes 20% more now by waiting it out.
I would ask for no less than 80k.
