I own a 1973 Chevy nova and and a 1988 Dodge ramcharger. Eventually I want to put a 6.6L duramax in the nova, and make it into a sleeper/fun weekend car, restomod the interior for comfort, convenience and tech etc. Then I want to put a Cummins in the Ramcharger and make it into kind of an overland/back country truck that I can still take down the road to get to the back country. Also restomod it for comfort, convenience and tech. Thoughts ?

I have an interview with Korn Ferry for an associate principal role and am curious about others’ experiences have been with work-life balance here. Working on a regular desk and my laptop has been killing my back and neck for last few years. Finally spent a couple hundred dollars on a standing desk, wireless keyboard, and back/neck heating pad to alleviate the pain. Very hopeful working will be much better now.

Has anyone had issues with hiring department? I applied to a IT position, passed the interview and they gave me a start date and salary. I was very happy and can’t wait to start but then… my recruiter told me that we have to delay the start date because my badge has not been created yet. Then it has been 4 weeks later and they say they are very sorry for the wait and they increased my pay up significantly to help compensate for the lost days. But idk what to do.. should I stay or look elsewhere

I’m a former forensic scientist that left the field several years ago. I recently received a subpoena from a case I worked and suggested to DA to have evidence re-worked by the lab or stipulation. If I am required to testify (as an expert witness), I would need to book a flight, hotel, etc. My question is this: can I ask for my requested hourly rate, travel, and hotel to be covered when speaking with DA or is that “not how this works” as the investigator put it?
