Agree! Was lucky enough to have my work pay for a consultant and he has boosted my performance and confidence at work so much...and actually led me to realize I have ADHD and get treatment. Truly grateful. Life-changing.
Amazing☺️
A good mentor will make you feel comfortable and shouldn’t be condescending. I know it’s difficult and can be nerve wracking to step out of you comfort zone. It’s a great opportunity to build your confidence, a mentor can help as well☺️you can do this
Thank you, that's really encouraging!
My employer wants me to mentor some of our employees. I don't know if I'm already qualified or not. But this is really helpful. Thank you so much!
Yes, totally agree. But my primary concern right now is that I tend to question my own capabilities. I'm worried that it might show during our mentorship. But this is really helpful. I'll keep this in mind :)
Yes! Searching for one now :)
Very helpful, thank you!
Any advice on where to find a good one without having to pay a fee? I feel weird just randomly reaching out to people on LinkedIn that I don't know.

I know it can be so helpful, but for me it feels so intimidating. I get nervous when I am asking from help for someone who seems so much smarter than me. How can I get past that?
You are so right. I have been fortunate enough to find many great mentors over the course of my professional career.
