Some men aren’t sexist, they’re assholes and gender is irrelevant to them - it’s not always about you
Do partners of color actually give you work? There’s only a handful in my office and they are nice to me, even are candid about how white upper management is. But they’ve never thrown any work my way or even gotten to know me on a real professional level which is frustrating because they purport to support diversity initiatives, etc. and I’ve definitely tried to open a line of communication with each of them.
Looking for the best elementary model for special Ed students who are mild/ moderate (ie. Pull out, co-teach, inclusion with para support, etc.) What articles support this model?
How important is diversity to you where you work? How important is it to you to have gender balance? Are you male or female?
Recommendations for a gender discrimination attorney in IL or WI? I need a lawyer to write a few strongly worded letters.
Any moms who really badly wanted a girl but ended up with a boy(s)? How do you feel now? Do you still want a girl? Would you try again? Does it matter really, or was it just in your head? Had a difficult relationship with my mom growing up, so always wanted that closeness with my future daughter. FTM having a boy and a little disappointed, but feeling guilty for that too. Difficult pregnancy so likely won't have another. But I want a girl. 🤷🏻♀️ Please no woke left gender drama responses. Thanks.
Genuinely curious as to why mansplaining occurs. Is it because they are not listening? Or were not listening? You explain something to them that they didn't know but they still explain back to you like you needed to be lectured on the topic. Why does this happen? (Also, the word is "mansplaining" but no exclusive of gender. I've seen men and women all do it. Although, most cases with men). This didn't happen to me, but I've seen it happen to a lot of people in meetings recently. Is it because..
I’ve been thinking about leaving my job for a couple of years, but one thing that always stopped me was this nagging feeling that I would be letting women down by not staying and making partner and improving the “ratio.” But I just got a job offer to be an executive at a company where I’ll be the *only* female leader, so I guess I’ll still be contributing to gender equality after all! 💪🏻 Very excited about this new opportunity! But also SUPER nervous!
How many agencies out there still have unpaid internships? To not pay a living wage for interns today seems hugely out of step with diversity goals.
Biden administrations lifts Trump’s restrictions on family based visas and diversity lottery winners entering the US and not restrictions on employment based visas like H1B and L1.. shows you that employment based immigration is not a priority!
Female here and I hate to say it! But whenever I’m pull to a new project I secretly hope I don’t get a female lead. 😞 I had some interesting experiences with women leads, which it does not apply to all women!, but I feel a bit hesitant and I feel is ptsd lol how can I overcome this mentality?! I’m pro women and equally etc etc but I often rather deal with a dude lead Bc we women are so hard on each other. Smh 🤦🏽♀️
“It just stresses me out-having ALL women on this project. It’s not even a gender thing. It just... if anything it‘d be MORE sexist to keep the team “as-is” simply BECAUSE you’re all women, you know?"
Hi All, Is there anyone from HR or hiring team here. I see a gender pay disparity. Can anyone comment on this PwC India
Anyone feel weird when leader ship or management always combats your inquiries about you Diversity of race or gender by saying we only hire the best talent. Like are you trying to say no one of color or a woman of color applied for any of these jobs? Because we continuously hire white males as designers all the time

Would like to obtain a diversity certification... Any recommendations regarding good programs?
Love how posts joking/critiquing people’s gender identities are still up. But one joking about “white people being crazy” gets taken down immediately😒
We want more diversity at our school. Have your schools ever successfully changed this- like by changing school boundaries? How to get parents on board?
WARNING: Several firms have announced that diversity numbers are now part of executive performance metrics. If this app is a gauge, White people and Asians are ANGRY about this. This could translate into more workplace hostility and acts of sabotage from worker bees and middle management for Black people.

What household income would you need to be comfortable buying an 800k house? Assuming no other debt. Know there are many other factors besides HHI, just taking the temperature here
Anyone else worried about all these new grad hires getting 100k out the gate? Giving that much money to kids is going to result in people not knowing what it’s like to work hard for their wealth.
Is the 50-50 male-female hiring rule fair? In many offices the applicants are 80-20, thus women are 4 times more likely to make it. Isn’t this the definition of discrimination?
For those in this category - how did you reach $1,000,000 net worth...combination of stocks, side hustles, jobs etc.
As an interviewer, I find it very awkward when an interviewee has on a button-up with a tie and jacket. Heck, even just a button-up. Why do you wear that at home? Put your polo on, relax a little, and don't sit their like a stiff in your apartment bedroom with a fake background.
Gf wants a 30k ring. Says she'd be unhappy with anything less. Both24 yrs. I love her a ton, just wish she valued our future more then a diamond. Advice on how to talk to her?Or am I wrong here?
Fam... I have a dilemma. A headhunter reached out to me about a position I m very interested in. We talked and he said he was a good fit for the company. Later he came back and said the company ...
What do you do to get rich? I fully understand that salary can only take you so far. Besides stocks, what else are you all doing and how’d you get started?
How do you deal with a micro manager?
Not my president!
Little brother making close to 300k first year out of undergrad at Airbnb, but says he wants to switch to consulting smh. I envy the naive people who don’t know how software engineers make
