Just had an interview with Google last week and was rejected. The interviewer was so cold, and disinterested in being there. She just looked heads down at her template the whole time. What a terrible experience.

Most important behavioral questions to anticipate? My first interviews since securing my campus offer are upcoming and I’m trying to brush off the rust. “Tell me about a time when...” feels very different now that I have more than just group project academic experience

Had a first interview with Google and bombed it. Was mostly focused on marketing cases , marketing plans etc. (wasn’t really expecting it). This was for a S&O role. .they asked whether they can schedule interview on Wednesday....i said Yes.

But somehow I get schedule cancellation e-mail on or before Tuesday & the process continues from last 1.5 months

Joining Google in a few weeks and assuming I will be moving to the Bay Area sometime this year. For people who have kids, what do you do about schools? My wife and I are looking to buy a place but most the public schools in the South Bay are rated terribly. It’s good to note we don’t have kids yet but are trying to think longer term. Just graduated with Aerospace Engineering degree. I am interviewing for multiple positions at once with different companies. One gave me an offer and they want me to get back to them within 2 days. I still have other interviews scheduled and some for higher paying jobs (around 90k) What should I do?
I do like the company that gave me an offer but their base pay was 80k and they went up to 85k. Is asking for them to match the 90k too much? The position is associate systems engineer.

Folks Need some help. How do you separate work stress from your ‘non work’ life effectively? Work is hard and my stress level and mood get carried over outside of work, relationship is falling apart.

Anyone else ever feel like if something is “easy” it might not be worth it? Thinking of moving from Consulting to tech startup. Interviews felt like a cake walk and I’m in the offer stage. Higher role and solid higher comp. It all just felt “too easy”…
