Just wanted to take everyone’s “temperature.” How are your teams forecasting the demand for travel when this is done? Are clients saying they’re fine with zoom now? Or are partners going to...

There is no “second” that this will end. It’ll be extremely gradual and even that change won’t start for several months, maybe even 2021. Air travel is a petri dish for viruses like this and unless there’s a vaccine I don’t see anyone flying for work this year.

like

Well of course there’s no second this ends. I mean it more of a “the minute you’re allowed to will the partners smell blood in the water and go for it”

I don’t see myself traveling for the rest of 2020

like

I think we will shift to only being at client site for kickoff, special circumstances until there’s a vaccine. Highly doubt weekly travel will be a thing for some time.

I’m dying to get back on the road but no one else feels the same

I don’t but my family is ready for me to be on the road again...

Have everyone on the road the second this ends?

Don’t y’all think that will add to the pain and slowness? I can’t imagine buying consulting w/o promise of on the ground resources? Also, finding those Easter egg or same client but dif opp. / projects will be tough af.

Well if the client is working remote how would they benefit from having ground resources if they won’t see them? Partners are selling projects remotely now

Work related expenses will be minimal, but Im moving/furnishing an apartment so personal spend will be decent. TIA!

Are these two things separate and where can I see the fast track progress?

We are looking to hire a FTE for systems integration. We are using Mulesoft as an IPAAS. I’m part of the hiring team. The pay is 6 figures it is fully remote, the benefits are insanely good and it can be your second job if you are very good. If you are great, it’s probably 15-20 hours of work per weeks. If you are good enough, I will even cover for you to coordinate with your primary job. DM me if you are interested as I’m tired of the crappy recruiting company we are contracted with.
