I’ve made it 5+ years in a NY M&A practice and have consistent exceeding expectations reviews. I’ve had a few mental breakdowns because of work during this time, but thankfully made it through. I’m currently a Grade 11 at Cisco. With the recent pay structure changes my annual comp will be $150k + 12% bonus. I live in a large metro area in the middle of the US. We all are educated people, working in MNCs, very good at what we do then why not earn more? You could open small business such as fast food corner or even small restaurant. This does not stop us doing our day job, after setting up your business you can just recruit right people seeing it and only small input would be needed from you. Opinion?
