Starting a small business is a ton of effort, financial risk, and stress that most people don’t want in their lives
Rising Star
Your question gives a feeling that starting a business is a child's play, like creating a Facebook account or a website.
When in reality it is filled with a hell lot of stress, legal documentation and many more things, and last but not the least, capital, some people might have it but not everybody.
It will require money and energy which will also affect your current job and the attention and focus you are able to continue with all the stress of the business. Not easy at all.
You don't seem to have done a lot of BD for TCS
I have had exp of working in a small business.
Its a myth that money is great.
And the work hours definitely are hell. Atleast 10 12 hours everyday with no leaves ( otherwise competition will get you)
Starting a business needs lot of undivided thoughts and energy which is difficult to garner with a parallel job in hand. Running things in parallel needs someone trustworthy who can take care of things when you aren't there. Btw If it were so easy why did somany entrepreneurs drop out from college to pursue their passion in business ?
