How common are credit checks for roles in accounting or finance positions? Will high utilization on credit card balances and low credit score be a deal breaker? Hello, I’m current a Cyber Security Incident Responder but I’m a little unclear on what path to take in terms of certs/career path. What should I aim for? I current have a CompTia Security + cert and Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin. I’d also prefer the blue team or purple team.

I’m having the hardest time finding a new job. I have 12 years of HR experience, a masters in HR, SHRM certification, and all I keep getting are rejection emails. I’ve never experienced this difficult of a time searching for new opportunities. Is this normal once you hit a certain level in your career or is it just me?
