Our bonus is based on individual and firm performance. For Director, the published range is 7-13% I believe with a small portion higher and a small portion lower.
Isn’t that a low range for a Dir ?
For non client facing, thats a really good base

Just bear in mind the firm's culture. What you're experiencing in recruiting will carry through the entire employee experience, i.e. very risk averse and hide behind policy and procedures. If that's your personality, great. If not, look elsewhere
That's a pretty good starting salary for not dealing with clients. They probably want to say, "it's really a 7%-10% typical bonus but we cut yours first when the firm doesn't do well."

YOE, location and what type of role? Undisclosed is weird. They should have a range - go and push them to provide you with a range (%o of your base) for similar roles. There isn't any reason they cannot provide you with that.

Base sounds good. But for a recruiter to say "avoid making promises" when asked for comp estimate is the most BS thing ever. This almost amounts to non-disclosure/withholding key details of the offer that sounds pretty bad for a company the size of KPMG. Performance based bonuses are a variable comp which means it can be paid out 0% to 100% of its target. That fact is universally understood. So for them to play this game does not sound like a good start for me
Current client facing director at kpmg, I would take that comp package. Basically somewhere around 250 - 300 total comp, not bad at all
Thanks. Appreciate the feedback from the inside
This seems high for non client facing. Well done. What role is this for? Marketing / business development?
That’s pretty bad for a director role in consulting, especially if they won’t tell you the normal bonus amount.
Non client facing role. Probably not consulting.
