Had 4 rounds of great interviews for a internal HC consulting sr mgr role at tech Org. Final/5th round was a presentation and I felt it didn’t go well because I followed instructions and created a solid strategy that was based on evidence and best practices from what other orgs are doing - exactly what the case asked but based on their questions it seemed they wanted some high in the sky creative ideas. Read that McK is paying 2K higher than BCG this year which means BCG will probably raise again next year to at least match. However, they can’t just copy McK with 2K to match because that would look bad so they’ll have to beat it again. Then McK and Bain will follow. Barring a devastating recession, I’m guessing this means MBB is all getting raises again next year?

Got a referral to BCG and still haven’t had anybody follow up to screen or interview me. It’s been two weeks now. Lol do I give up all hope? How long does this usually take?
