Starting to get feelers out for Account Management roles (fully remote or hybrid Seattle based). My experience is working with e-commerce businesses and i would like to build on that. So far I am lined up to speak with Shopify, Twilio, Attentive. Anyone have good/bad things to say regarding these companies? Where else should I consider?

I was laid off this month from a US-based company where I've been a reporter for the past 3 years or so... I live in Europe. I wonder if I'm likely to have luck with other remote-friendly US companies. Or are we already past that?

Anyone ever been promised a promotion and worked toward it by doing literally everything the company asked for 2 years straight only to then get passed over ? (Mind you I did this all during covid… with a new baby too). Please tell me I’m not the only one. Now that this promotion isn’t happening I feel hell bent on having my company let me work from home forever now. I got an offer from hcl and they are offering very less hike on my current CTC around 20% even fixed part is less than my current fixed amount.

I reverted asking them to provide 40% hike on my cctc or 20% hike on fixed cctc and wfh option.
It's been six days no reply from HR.

I have an offer from a startup. The thing is that they are 3 people in total (engineers) and also not working on tech that’s used in other companies (like Kafka or multithreaded features). They use spring boot (with java) and will improvise as and when their demand grows. Is this something to pursue with 4.2 years of experience?

I have 11 yoe and getting an offer from HP Enterprise in Bangalore with 30 LPA Fixed and Offer Letter mentions variable. Work is in Go, Scala and Apache Spark. While Synechron offers me 33 LPA but no bonus in Hyderabad, work is in Java, Spring boot and MongoDB. I am confused between these two.

My current location is Hyderabad. I worked in PBC for 7 years.

So, basically my choice is between location (convenience) and Money vs Brand and Better Work.
