Looking to get into Strategy Consulting (Strategy&) but was told my resume did not meet the fit for the entry level assoc role. Specifically they mentioned the school I went to and told me they would not interview me. I experienced this when I first joined the firm, I applied for Opp Consulting (ADV) - turned away - applied to TP (Tax) and was hired the day after my interview. Any tips on how I should proceed? My next paths are DDV and Operations Consulting. Appreciate all responses and insight

Once you get into a FAANG company, is it better to stay where you are or move around? I’m a dissatisfied with my current job but I have vesting stocks, work 9-5, and people to know and respect me. Looking for advice. Based in the Bay Area and have 3.5 yr exp in IT Audit mostly SOX with a little SOC exp (ex big 4, couple of regionals) and have been applying to industry (mostly tech companies) since May. made it to final interviews only to find out hiring freezes were in effect or they went with a LCOL candidate.Would like to exit to a GRC role or a mixed role thats 50% sox, 50% varied projects, or a SOX role if the team culture is good. No luck getting in non sox work at current firm.
