What type of firm does a board of directors or CEO hire when it’s dealing with a major controversy or issue? (Eg Uber w Travis issue, Zoom, etc)

Presented in person to a client for the first time last week, and it was way easier than over Zoom. Actually getting to pause and gauge reactions in real-time made life so much easier. Do y’all prefer in-person or virtual presentations?

Just realized I hadn’t had an in-person interview since 2019. I’ve done multiple zoom interviews and was onboarded remote in 2020. About to see a real person today! Wish me luck.

Has anyone had a client request zoom and virtual house showings?

I was recently offered a Zoom interview. The school had 10 interview slots for me to choose from. Three were one day this week and the rest are next week. I chose the first time slot available. Should I have waited until one of the last slots so I was fresher on their mind when choosing a candidate? I am just sitting here stressing out until I here something. Also, do interviewers still appreciate a hand written thank you for the interview?

How are you teaching middle or high school chorus in the fully virtual realm? I’m looking for new ideas and techniques. I hate that my choirs can only sing on Zoom with everyone muted...that’s the opposite of choral singing :-(

Are marketing agencies really required to have their employees come into the office? We all work using computers and sharing our files in the cloud, the only time we see each other is for meetings, which can absolutely be done through Zoom. How is your job handling this atm?

Gift giving help: every year around this time my husband brings up his Jan bday and basically demands I spend a lot of $ on him. I find this stressful. Yesterday in the middle of a horrible hangover.. someone’s unit decided to flood and caused some damaged to mine. With that being said with little to no explanation 5 dudes kept coming in and out of my apartment. The results being them leaving 3 fans and awful smell to my apartment.

When I’m in a heated argument with someone close to me, I want to isolate from them and can be perceived as giving the silent treatment or being short. But on the inside, I go through sad thoughts such as feeling like my presence is a burden, that I’m an annoyance, and dont want to bother you again by reminding you of my presence, and would rather leave you alone😢.
