I would think Denver and KC are on similar Midwest pay scales and while I haven't tracked exactly where the Holland Hart's of the world have landed after the most recent series of bumps, several years ago I would say a 6th year would be looking at something around $185-$220.
Compensation metrics for Midwest v150-v200 firms can be pretty challenging to find. But I would think Holland Hart would be a good reference point if you can find any compensation data for them.
Just joined, late to the game, but I'll confirm first years at Holland & Hart start at $185k (may var slightly by practice group). I'm a 5th year at $210k base.
NALP has 1st year salaries. Can give an idea comparing to other markets
That's a good point, but once you go outside the Cravath scale / AM100 those annual bumps are the Wild West, and in many cases, associates can expect $2,500-$7500 annual bumps as opposed to the $20,000-$35,000 bumps you see on cravath.
