Looking to move from a V50 in a larger market to a large firm in Salt Lake City. Outside of K&E (which pays NY market), anyone have a sense for what kind of a salary dip a sixth-year associate would be taking?

I have already accepted the offer of a company X and completed all the onboarding formalities. Meanwhile, I received an offer from another company Y which is giving me more fixed and joining bonus. I'm more inclined towards joining company X. Would it be right to ask X to match the new offer. How should i go about it.
My joining is a week away so I really need your input.

I'm deciding between two offers: 1. FDD Associate at A&M (90k base + likely 30-40k annual bonus) 2. Analyst at a small boutique IB with decent deal flow (75k base + likely 50-70k annual bonus)

I am so anxious right now! Just got a job offer 2 weeks ago and still waiting on the written offer letter. I asked for an update and the recruiter reached out 2 days ago letting me know that they had some final requirements that should be approved that day so they can send the offer letter out. Serious billing question - if during the course of the day, you first receive an email from Client A at say 11:10am and you read it, you then respond to it at 12:20pm. You get another email at 2pm from Client A and respond immediately. The next email comes in at 4pm, you read it and respond only at 4:30pm. None of the email responses take more than 3-5mins. You are working on matters for other clients at all other times during the day. How much are you billing for Client A?

Thoughts on getting fed government jobs? I'm a first year associate in a specialized transaction group in DC and I fucking hate it.
