Looks like finally the government is addressing the shortage.. 80million to support nurse training programs. Plus "The DOL pointed to the need for more than 275,000 additional nurses from 2020 through 2030." That's a huge number. I linked the article too.

Wow. I'm glad shortages will be less common, but wonder if this will affect pay too much....

Seriously glad to see this, I think hospitals desperately need a measure like this
I've been wondering when the government was going to step in to help with the shortage. There are so many shortages in healthcare, but the training often seems out of reach for many, whether due to the expense or the amount of time. If training became more affordable, maybe we would finally have closer to *enough* nurses and not have to work so much overtime....
I wonder how much impact this can actually have. I hope it alleviates the pressure from some of the nurses working now.
