Wonder if Kevin Durant gives a flying fuck about your respect...
I find this hypocritical. I mean if we got a better offer ( in terms of work, professional growth, etc), wouldn't we leave? Same thing. Nothing personal, just business.
Why mang? Warrior sick team yo
Eh it's a 2 year contract with the second year as an option. He just wants his ring (which I can't blame him for) then maybe he'll come back home and join my WIZARDS? Wishful thinking, I know :D
This is like if Luke Skywalker joined Darth Vader immediately after Vader cut off his arm.
Difference is that Lebron left a weak ass Cleveland team in which cheapo shit Dan Gilbert wouldn't give him a good supporting cast and he STILL took them to the finals... Whereas durant was already on a championship caliber team with Westbrook having 1 more year on his contract
When it's all said and done, we won't remember lebron for teaming up with wade and bosh to win 2 rings. Only that he has 3 (or however many he ends up with). Same will be said for KD when his time is over. Assuming they win one
boohoo man
Chill bruh. The dude has been there for years and built up that program to what it is today - he doesn't owe anybody anything.
Would people have preferred the Spurs over the Warriors? I dreaded the thought of him playing in San Antonio.
False
Anyone who's been to Oklahoma City will know why he wanted to get the hell out of Oklahoma. #3rdworldAmerica
How many rings do you think he'll win in GS?
He will be there one year
A true competitor would never join the team that beat you in the conference finals, after you had a 3-1 lead. OKC was close, who knows what they could have done next year with that group. Not hypocritical @EY1. He chose the less challenging path. Winning in OKC would have shown much more growth
The GSW team that he is joining is a lot different than the one he lost to with Bogut and Barnes going to Dallas. I actually think this is the more challenging path. New offense where he will have to fight for his points and a lot of unknowns with who is playing the 5 (if you say Draymond can then this convo is not worth having). He could have stayed at OKC with Westbrook where they have rhythm with a coach who, in my opinion, is about to hit his stride.
