Marketing advice - I had a small company reach out to me via Indeed and they wanted to me to create a marketing strategy so they can improve their online business. I created a contract and a strategy to go with it. They took the strategy and said they were going to have their son's friend try for a few weeks and said to follow up. How do you guys handle a company asking for a strategy without paying for one? Do you ask for a fee to create it or just speak to them but don't write anything?

Recruiter cancelled phone call with me at the last second yesterday and said she would be in touch to reschedule. Didn't hear back today. Should I write this interview off?

My company contracts a web developer, we have a set amount of hours for the quarter and pay over if more work is needed.
He never gets anything done. Doesn’t answer emails half the time. The one thing he’s done was take out a blurb that threatened our eligibility for patent renewal.
