Favorite office chair?
Finally found THE one, after over a year of searching and trying out at least 5 different ones!
A nice comfortable office chair.
https://ergochair.co/collections/chairs/products/ergonomics-mesh-chair-w-adjustable-headrest-and-armrest?variant=32511617597491
My criteria: mesh seat and back, arms, headrest
I tried cheap ones from Amazon. Expensive, second hand gaming chairs. Tried HM Aeron (second hand) and while I didn't like the bulk and the general design, I was sold on the mesh seating. I wanted to get the ErgoChair 2 from autonomous, but it doesn't have mesh seat.

They wanted to restructure to cut costs, and hired a consulting firm to help do the analysis and give recommendations, as any company does. If they didnt hire McKinsey they would have probably hired Bain, or BCG, or any other firm (but probably not Deloitte), who would have more likely than not come up with very similar recommendations. People tend to not be happy when cost cutting restructurings happen. Suggesting its all because of McKinsey is a bit ridiculous.
“Probably not Deloitte”. Speaking on behalf of Chapek, are we? :)
Seems like Associated 1 was rejected by Deloitte :)
Doesn't change the fact that you're at Deloitte

When McKinsey comes to town 😂😂😂
Why is marketing under the control of content creators? Not sure that’s the most obvious way to run things

thank you for recycling ♻️
That's what happens when you take McKinsey's radical advice almost every single time...
Hahaha working smarter
Should have taken second opinion from KPMG

Do people not know how consulting works or just enjoy hating on McKinsey *that* much?
OP here, lotta the latter (in good fun). 😂😂 It’s Friday, relax a little.
Did you particularly like Bob Chapek?
He ain’t Indian son.
Most of don't hate on McK, we just think using the AT&T Warner model again might not be the best answer.
Certainly not working now for them. WBD is a hot mess!
Rising Star
Sounds like: spoiled local management didn't want to lose their bloated perks/overhead and decided to kick out the CEO.
Yeah I don’t think that was it. Fact is they were founded in this model and it drives their talent and core values of creating.
Chapek went political causing issues as well as a few other items with Disney+ etc.
People talk about bloat in technology companies but don’t mention the bloat in Strategy Consulting, it’s not hard to do what McKinsey does, but by all means continue to pay them exaggerated salaries.

I’m not entirely sure those are the same things given the actual quantity of work to do…
And let’s be real, everyone would love to be paid a lot to do very little
My wife is an avid Disney enthusiast.. she's on all the Disney pages, fb groups, etc. Nobody liked Bob Chapek...not one person.
