Is it a good idea to still switch with the counter offer from Cg Capgemini Tata Consu

“Time sheet fraud” - no one is allowed to put more than 7 hours / day in time sheet. Isn’t that a fraud from management to start with?
Legit, it’s 7. No idea why, but it is what it is. I wish I worked 7 hours

Its ppl taking holidays and instead of booking pto just booking beach to not use their pto days. Pretty dumb fraud attempt
It’s stupid since you can go negative on pto anyways
Why do we keep calling it beach, when it's the bench? Can we stop normalizing stupidity.
I think people are misinterpreting the term 'beach'. Beach isn't like sun and fun. It is more like, imagine you are a sea creature, and you are there on that hot beach, and you don't want to be there too long, or else
Wow, why would someone fake charge the beach code? Wouldn’t that hurt their billability?
Yeah I guess it must have become enough of a problem that they had to send the email
We need to charge time to the beach?? Im guessing this isn’t in Lon as we’re quite chill on the timesheet front
I don’t understand - client utilization is the KPI they track during reviews, PTO/beach both impact negatively.
Consulting firms need their consultants for more than the obvious billing time to clients. For example: to create IP based on research and client work, to put together proposals, to attend conferences, to do performance reviews. None of those things factor into client utilization. If the consultants are dishonest and making themselves unavailable for the activities I listed the consulting firms future revenues are put at risk as pretty much all of the things I listed build the value of the firm/practice but do not directly impact client utilization.

All due respect, but this is like the one thing I can't imagine would be a good lie for billing hours. And I am pretty sure you would know you weren't filling your sheets out properly, so how should that (heh) be considered contributing to an ersatz "culture of fear"? I mean I am sure most people have fudged at least once, but are you overreacting?
I’ve heard more than one company calling it “the beach” instead of “the bench.”
