I have recently cleared the loop at Google for a GCP Cloud Security Consultant role in India.
YoE - 10. Not sure about the job level yet. The recruiter has just sent me an "Offer review packet" spreadsheet to fill with salary expectations.
My two best current offers are:
- Prod sec engineering lead at an Eyecare giant - 57 LPA + 3.5 L joining bonus
- Lead sec engineer at a series D profitable HR tech startup - 60 LPA + 40 L ESOP vested over 4 years
How much should I ask for at Google ?
No hike like last year ?!

This June I completed my 9 months at Career Level 12 and Sub Level 3 I.e, CL 12.3 at Accenture Operations. My Annual Talent Discussion and One-on-One with People Lead is complete as of last week.
I have 3 questions now :
1. When can I expect to move to 12.2 ?
2. What is the general hike I can expect ? And when it is reflected ?
3. When will be the variable pay will be paid out ?
Can anyone here help me with this performance cycle part ? I am really confused.

AC 1 - Levels.fyi is pretty accurate. Also, there is a spreadsheet for all Microsoft salaries going around. But there is no difference in base between cleared and non-cleared

AWS gives an adjustment too I believe. G is still 1-2 years behind on classified enclaves but the demand is finally getting us to move quicker.
AWS is between 15k end 45k
I work with the government, clearance is not super hard to come by, but MSFT competent individuals who want to pursue a clearance and jump through hoops to maintain it is difficult to find! Imagine airing all of your dirty laundry to the government from high school all the way to the present just to prove you are not a spy, drug addict, and or financially inept. You have to find a reference for your abroad vacation trips etc. It's a time consuming process and many talented individuals do not want that scrutiny just for a job. This leads to a smaller pool and therefore increased demand and pay for that talent.
The issue is that must roles require a FSP though. Even with those bonuses they still cannot find talent that wants to upgrade.
With or without FSP, you get a bonus. The point here is how MSFT is really paying bonus compared to consulting
