Might be a stupid question but do you guys think that 401ks are a scam? I keep hearing about it. Is there a better way to invest your money?

401k's are definitely not a scam, and companies that offer a match represent just the opposite of a scam, it's effectively free money. There are more lucrative ways to invest, but the increased upside comes with increased risk. The 401k is a proven investment vehicle with decades of history to look back on.

I would be interested to hear how a 401k could be seen as a "scam."
