My dad likes my Tudor BB 58 GMT - but mentioned it’s a bit too heavy for him. Any similar styled watches that would be lighter?

Try titanium like a pelagos or longines Zulu time titanium for gmt function. A neo vintage Rolex 16710 would also be slimmer/lighter as well.

like

As others who have mentioned, anything in titanium is going to be substantially lighter than its steel or gold equivalent. Pelagos is my vote too.

like

Ok I showed him the pelagos. He seems to like the multi-colored bezel, which the pelagos doesn’t have

funny

Get him that watch on the rubber strap. Much lighter.

Pelagos is super light

There are some lighter options, as you’ve seen, but also remember that a watch that feels heavy today, will seem downright reasonable after a couple days.

He has a condition that is steadily weakening him, so while I would normally agree with you the lightness need is by design

like

This is a hair smaller than the BB58 but much lighter - the bracelet is super comfortable because it has a significant taper.

Also pretty much anything will feel light if you put it on a strap.

I’m relocating to London and would love to hear recommendations on neighborhoods. I am looking for an “urban village” feel (small coffee shops, not very touristy, can walk a dog and stroller) with a budget of 3K for a 1-2 bdr. My commute would be into Soho. I am currently looking at Notting Hill, Chelsea, and St John Woods, but I won’t be able to visit before my move. Any neighborhood recs?
