My husband and I are trying to start a family and I have job offers from other firms. Just curious if other firms out there other than EY offer the fertility benefit. I would hate to give this up by leaving EY but worried about job security

May want to wait a few months to begin trying if you accept a new gig! Most firms require you to be employed 12 months before being eligible for the parental leave beyond what FMLA provides. Just worth it to wait a few extra months as it’s possible to get pregnant on the first try!

EY and Deloitte your eligibility is right away!

Yes, I think most of the acctg firms have fertility benefit - BDO and Baker Tilly.

I believe KPMG does.

CLA does!

You can definitely request their benefit details before you accept the offer.

like

DT does too for both paternity and maternity

I would check on when you could use those benefits - some companies make you pass probation before you can even use it

like

KPMG offers 4 months paid paternity leave but there is a 12 month employment requirement.

Hello fishes. I'm an MBA graduate currently working as a digital marketing professional in a mid size consulting firm with 3 years of experience.
I am terribly underpaid in my current org at 5.5 LPA after a recent promotion and annual appraisal. Another mid size consulting firm offered me 7.5 LPA but I am asking them around 9 LPA.
Am I asking too much or shall I take the offer of 7.5 LPA?

Thank you
