Hiring process at Google is really long. Your best bet is to follow up with the recruiter each week for any updates. It can take 6 months + to receive an offer.
Congrats, on first, getting an interview, and second, making it through to the hiring manager.
It sounds like you need to be patient. I know it’s hard.
The recruiter said a few weeks and only 2+ weeks have passed. You’re still in the window of time suggested.
I have no inside knowledge to support this position. However, I would wait at least three weeks from the date of your last interview before inquiring.
Good luck!
It depends where in the interview process you are. If it’s a first or second screening interview, the wait is normal.
I would definitely follow up but make sure you have something to offer when you do: an update to your resume for instance..
If you’re further along in the process - I.e. you’ve already met with a team and hiring managers, you likely need to follow up as a quick check in and you’re likely not the top candidate and or the team is stalling a decision.
