Have you ever been told off by an older attorney of color? We have one Black partner at our firm and in conversation with him this morning he told me I should work on sounding and looking "more professional" and not let my "tone" or "bad attitude" get in the way. Venting :: I have this cousin who thinks she can just show up without calling or asking? She was unpleasant, criticised me for not cooking enough despite the fact that there were so many groceries close by, complained about me waking up at 8 am and how she hates my dogs and wish to strangle them, last time she stayed over. Love how BS credit score is. Got my score up to 800 last month only to go on vacation so my credit utilization went up to 8% due to the increased spending and my score dropped 35 points because I didn’t immediately pay the balance after charging the purchases. I always pay my balance in full each month and have never missed a payment, how is 8% credit utilization determined to be that big of a risk that my score got immediately wrecked, I don’t understand
