Hii! Question for everyone, how much should a UX Researcher (quantitative) with 5 years experience + PhD should be making? NYC based

Interviewing for a Manager position with PwC. What realistic salary range should I be entertaining? Current salary + bonus is around $130K.

I’ve never negotiated a salary before… any tips? The offer is for a boutique consulting firm with 2 YOE. The project work aligns exactly to my current role.

Base: 125k + COLA
Bonus target: 10%
Sign on bonus: 10k

Current base: 115k
Current bonus target: 15%

Those of you that have left retail, what would it take for you to go back? I’m hearing about 50k sign on bonuses at the corner locally (up from 20/25k in February). I’ve been unemployed/underemployed for over a year and am still holding out for anything else.

I got a offer in Infosys and accepted. Now present company retaining me with same CTC and additionally onsite as well.

Sharing my experience with Deloitte USI interview and offer negotiation. I gave Deloitte interview 2 months ago. After managerial round I did multiple follow ups and Deloitte didn’t bother to reply. I moved on and got another offer. After 1 month Deloitte came back and asked for documents and didn’t show up for another 1 month. Today HR called and asked my expectations. I have 23.5 in hand so I asked for 26 which she said out of budget. Then I asked 23.5 fixed atleast. Contd… in comments

I just offered an intern a full time position as an account coordinator with a starting salary of $50k. They have only been an intern for 2 months and have no prior experience. They acted like $50k was a huge slap in the face. Am I crazy for thinking $50k is reasonable for entry level in Toronto? Hey bowl 😄 looking for the Best Innovation/UX field certification programs !? I’m a vet and have approx 1.5yrs worth of GI Bill education benefits. Don’t necessarily want to do another degree as I think there are some really good certs to give me what I need to succeed.
