My practice got super busy after the pandemic. I have had a waitlist and been incredibly busy. It’s been stressful, but I have been grateful for business & to be helping people through a crazy time. This fall, I’ve noticed things slowing down and I don’t really know why. Has anyone else seen any similar trends (or know what might be going on)? TIA.

Just started working in-house within the last couple of months. First real attorney gig after doing compliance. The GC was terminated and I had to fill in the role as GC (even though that’s not what I’m called). My company says they don’t need a GC. Talked to my boss today and they want to hire another to take things off my plate since I am the only attorney. They plan to rewrite my job position to do more risk and compliance. Dual role position for a sub-specialist. It’s a very busy role that includes surgery scheduling , prior auths for surgeries and tests, referrals, returning patient calls regarding their surgeries, and to add to it, reviewing the schedules for out 2 Mds, 2 PA’s, & NP. They want everything done quickly but with also close attention to details but with absolutely no overtime. Right now I make less than I feel appropriate but it’s also more than the other clerical jobs in our corporation.

I left my previous employer citing personal family issues. They were toxic, I honestly wasn’t sad to leave. Now one week later, they text me saying they heard I’m working at a hospital in the area and “tell me it isn’t true.” Im not working there… but weird they would say that? And I don’t even want to answer but I also don’t want them to hate me and ruin my reputation as a therapist in this small town. Im still onboarding at my new job. How do I respond?

I have an interview with HR but it states that if it goes to the hiring manager, it will notified my manager.
