Think of it this way, in this waiting period and uncertainty that surrounds it you could be a Canadian citizen if you want to! Agreed that jobs are harder to come by over there and salary is much lower, but the quality of life is way better!!
How much longer wait is it for EB2? Why would you want to change location, job and face more uncertainty if the wait is say ~3 years.
Canada is better hands down if you are in with the slightly cold weather

You do not leave your place. As per the current process it will take 10-20 years at least!

Born probably India or China, they have the worst wait times
Indians have 150 yrs wait time. By that time who knows how the borders will look like. If we have to follow historical trend everyone would be trying to go Mars by that time. So it would bring down wait time for Indians sure
If your date is Dec 2012, and for Indian PD probably in 2010 has 30k perm certified ( means 100 k with family), 2011 (same as 2010),2012 was higher — 40k. So in total you have around 300k folks with family ahead of you. Every year you are limited to 6k gc visas based on country cap with some spill over. This means 300k will clear off in 30-40 years with spill over. Explore Canada, or move back your home country — even better. Caveat— I have no idea how the USCIS calculates the the chargebility dates
