Yes, don’t work during your lunch break. Are you able to get up from your computer for 5-10 minutes every hour to hour and a half? Stretch a little, visit the copier, refill your water, use the bathroom etc. also I know some people swear by switching their computer screen to dark mode saying the light isn’t too harsh on their eyes.
Blue light glasses. You're getting headaches because of the lights coming from the screen. Adjust the color settings as well.
I have the blue light glasses, and it really does help a lot! Also make sure you have decent posture and get those stretches in at some point. It was quite the shock to me how sitting on the computer was taking more of a toll on my body then before!
I swear by my blue light glasses. I have a lot of issues with my vision, so I went through my eye doctor to get them. They make a big difference - no more headaches. I also did make some changes when working. I do give my eyes a break every 30 minutes or so which has helped too.
It's the same for me, I love the blue light glasses personally. I have pairs for the work and the office and it's made a massive difference to my vision. I used to get a lot of headaches and stuff but it's gone away now
Glad you are taking your break to get away from the screen!
I started out using blue light glasses. Short term those did help. But fast forward, I ended up needing glasses. Don't forget t take lots of break to give your eyes time to rest
I would really try getting a good pair of blue light glasses. I used to get headaches every single day at work until I got a pair and then they stopped. When I forget them I usually end up with a headache. They have worked wonders.
There are glasses out there that help with preventing or remedying headaches. I am thinking about investing in a pair myself. I have been getting headaches and I was told it could be because of my posture as well.
