My wife and me just moved to NYC (from Chile). We are trying to find her a Job in NYC, but its been hard through LinkedIn. Do you know any other ways we could try to get at least interviews? She is trying to join a business develop. team, ideally in energy, but obviously opened for other industries as well. She's 5 years of exp. w/ background of M&A in EY and Business development in Energy.

Hey All,
I finished a third round interview, and HR contacted me that afternoon saying I had positive feedback across the board and they would contact me the next day regarding next steps. It’s been two days and they finally get back to me saying they haven’t been able to sync with the hiring manager but will keep me posted. Honestly I wish they would talk with the hiring manager and then let me know the decision instead of checking in. It’s messing with my emotions.

Ghosted by another recruiter after what seemed like a very promising phone interview. What is the fucking deal? Is there a list somewhere to track this kind of thing?

Since that day, there is no communication from HR team of Wipro . I tired of sending multiple emails and when I tried to call he always declines my call.

Between director of respected technology is reaching me and he wants me to join ASAP and take over the project work.

I like my role (sourcing, modelling and strategy integration), however I don't see myself working in this industry long term. Without a generalist IB background, are my chances of transitioning over to a different Industry low? If so, is there anything I can learn or do (excluding IB)?

Why do corp dev roles for PE backed companies pay more than corp dev roles at corporations? Also, what’s the comp range you guys are seeing? I’m getting offers for 120K-140K and this just seems really low.
