What are usually kpi in companies like salesforce for example?

Hey everyone! At what stage do you think it would be appropriate to share that I am currently on an H-1B work visa? I got reached out by the CEO regarding an opportunity they are recruiting for. I applied and have made it to the final round of interviews that’s this week. In the application they didn’t ask about sponsorship or anything, and I didn’t want to automatically disqualify myself by telling them before giving my final round presentation. My students come to my class first every morning and are really hard to settle. They continue to carry on whatever they were doing on the bus. It takes about 20 min to get them settled down and doing the warm up and the class is only 45 min. Any tips?

Too many cooks in the kitchen

I love my job in special education, the job may bring quite a bit of stress and exhaustion but nothing compares to the stress of the related service team. OT, PT, speech, BCBA, social worker, etc etc is really what’s killing me this year. It is 23 days into the school year and the team members all make different plans and as a result, nothing is being accomplished. And if paraprofessionals follow ie what OT says but not PT, it cause so much unnecessary conflict!

I met two of my three aides for the first time today and they have been nothing but miserable the entire day. How could I promote a more positive environment without directly calling them out?

I feel like I'm at my wits end. I teach self-contained classes and according to the ISBE website my classes shouldn't be more than 8 students unless I have an aide - then it can be 10. I have no aide and most of my classes are around 14 kids. Some with behavior plans that are only out of our behavior room setting for my class... Is anybody else out there going through illegal class sizes for self-contained? How are you dealing? Maybe a vent session is in order.

Anyone else the last to be informed about ANYTHING at their site? I am only a second year SPED teacher and my eyes are already wide open to the fact that admin and Gen Ed teachers so often fail to inform me about important things regarding the grade levels I teach and other school events. Then I’m left scrambling to inform my students and parents of essential information, and I’m embarrassed! My aides also look at me like why don’t you know this? Aggravating.

Did you watch 60 minutes section about student loan forgiveness? I am in my 8th year of teaching and this news of 9 out of 10 getting declined for approval of the Publc Service loans concerns me. There's no way that I will pay this off before retirement , and now to hear about the confusing rules. What do you think?
