What's the best way to network with prospective customers for a startup? Assuming you dont have a reliable network, does cold calling or messaging via Linkedin still work? Lets assume that you're just starting out, have a business plan and a product/service offering and want to land 2/3 customers before approaching a VC for a Series A round? I currently work as an APM at a FAANG company but recently received an offer to join an MBB. I’m very excited about the role but didn’t realize I’d need to take a pay cut when I applied (~100k base + ~20k bonus + ~60k equity vs. 90k base + 10-20k bonus). Considering that I currently work 40-60 hours/week, I’ll be making significantly less per hour at the MBB. I am in a difficult situation got an offer from one company with 40% hike i told them i will avail buyout option and join there in 2 weeks as i am currently not serving notice period. now i am not getting interest to join there due to work timings but not getting calls to try for other opportunities.
