Who here have abs 😬
Hello All, I have one question. I was a fresher and joined one organization as external employee with third party payroll. I worked as external payroll for 1 year then I became permanent employee of organization was working. When i was a fresher my salary was below tax slab so my external exployer did not generate any form 16 for me. When tried to switch my new organization wants me to submit form 16 as BGC process. Will my offer get reverted?Cognizant Tata Consultancy HCL Technologies Accenture

Reach out to your new employer and ask if there’s any flexibility on start date.
If your plan is to give 2 weeks notice and then head off on vacation for one of those weeks, it’s a bad plan. But I get it, you’d like to get paid the week you’re on vacation. (No guarantee you will be either way.) If you insist, start putting together exit memos on all of your cases before giving notice. Save them locally of course. The standard two weeks isn’t for show. It gives the firm time to get someone up to speed on your files, or at least re-assign them, look for a replacement (who will also give two weeks notice), mine any necessary knowledge you have, etc. So the very least you can do is prep the files so they are ready for transfer and pick up.
You have no flexibility on the start date?
We discussed it in the interview and I agreed to it without thinking it all the way through
Yeah I rather just deal with it on the outgoing side.
Will they even have you work two weeks? Everyone I know, always kicks you out the second you give notice.
I’ve seen other people give notice and they worked the two weeks but pretty much sat around the last week.
When I gave notice in July I knew I had a trip planned my last week of my notice period. I just told them I’d be remote that week and didn’t tell them I was traveling. I took a few calls during that time and took some time to set up my transition plan, but otherwise I just enjoyed my trip without them knowing.
