brother since you are single and looking for onsite I suggest take it, you can switch there as well after one year.
Live by sharing flat so cost of living will be significantly reduced.
your company is in which area, house rents are more in and near cbd, take house away from cbd and near MRT station, green and purple lines are good, purple has little India, green has expo/changi business park. they meet at outrum.
If office in changi business park than take rent in simei or pasir ris.
tempines will be higher end
Mellville park is indian neighborhood in simei.
Share appt., cook at home, indian groceries are easily available. Best is on wknd purchase from mustafa centre in little India.
Nets card for travel and dbs debit card
take public transport as much as possible, but if your are group of people than taxi sharing is easy.Indigo flights are cheaper. Air India ones are never on time. etc.
You can save around 2000 sgd, but am not including any vacation, alcohol, clubs, movie etc.
Go for onsite
Thanks for your suggestion, do you have idea on how much is the average expenses there?
70000 per year ? That is not possible as epass visa holder eligibility is starting from 6000+
You can save if your single.but you cannot hop jobs in singapore as your visa holder is your employer am assuming the offer is contract based
good point, want to understand, now what are the rules if somebody breaks contract and joins another employer who will sponsor candidates visa..earlier it was possible.
I am getting the same salary and managed to save 4500 SGD per month.
I am bachelor with 4.5 YOE. 800 Sgd rent for common room + 300 to 400 SGD on groceries and other stuff. 1200 SGD is my expense. I do cooking on my own as I am vegetarian. But if you are no vegetarian and can eat Chinese food then you can get food at any hawker center at 3 to 6 SGD per meal.
Now my rent is going to increase to 1050 SGD. So i can save only 4300 SGD in future.
Hi
Can you tell how you were able to get the job please?
