I had my kind of hr round with TCS
They did not have a detailed discussion regarding the compensation .
But they told i will be getting link for uploading documents and then hr would be discussing for compensation.
Its been 2 days. No update. Can anyone guide. Why 2 hr rounds ? N how much time it takes?

Have cleared HCL interview. Initially they offered 23 lpa (via proposed offer letter, to be approved by L4), but i requested to reconsider it for 25 lpa. After 5 days, they sent final offer letter of 19 lpa (stating they can offer max 50% as per L4 approval).

I don't have any other offer as of now. What should I do?

One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients). I’m aware there are personal aspects I need to work on like my mindset, patience etc etc, but I just get so frustrated with blatant stupidity.

How did you learn how to invest? (Stocks, Bonds, wtv) I am a newbie to investing and would love suggestions on helpful resources.

I’ve an total 3YOE in Pyspark and Python technologies And holding offers from Bank of America for 15.5 fixed and IDFC with 17lpa + 1 joining bonus.

In Bank of America it is more of a core Python role whereas in IDFC it is more related to Data Engineer role. I’m confused between choosing since Bank of America has bigger brand value and also both organizations have similar work life balance.

I have around 1 year of experience and i am not that experienced with negotiating salaries. I wanted to ask how do you ask for 2x or 3x hike on your current ctc as tbh sometimes i feel that i might not get a callback from recruiter if i ask for 2x hike.
