Is fine to Bangalore for 28L fixed+ 10% variable.
I did the calculation I am getting 30k more
difference in in hand salary.
Please suggest to take it.?Or no

Should I specialize in Blockchain or AI? I’m a freshman in a CS degree and I can’t decide. My main argument to choose blockchain is the easy entry with little experience and high salary, I plan on growing my skills during the bear market and get a job once the market recovers. I have 9.5 yrs of experience and am currently level 62 in Microsoft. I feel I should be Senior SE in Microsoft (level 63) but when I got microsoft offer last year the HR said it is the maximum they can give. Fixed base is 28 LPA. Can I ask for a slight increase ($5K) in salary if I already signed an offer letter? Their highest threshold was $5K more than what the offer was. If so, how do I go about it?

Through a lot of comp discussions I heard a lot of talk of “making you whole” when things get better. Am I drinking the kool-aid by believing this? Is this just meant to prevent further questions that the firm does not know the answer to?
